<p>The move will enable gamers to add 32GB of external memory via USB  ports on the Xbox 360 consoles. However, to achieve this, gamers will  have to attach two separate drives of 16GB each.</p>
<p>The development will allow Xbox 360 players to download, save and  install games to third-party flash drives. It will also allow them to  back-up their profiles, game saves, demos and the like.</p>
<p>The announcement marks the end of company’s external memory unit  business.</p>
